Study for Its Own Sake

Inspired by the Jewish value of study for its own sake (Torah l’shma), the Baltimore Hebrew Institute hosts an array of Judaic studies programs, including continuing education classes, Hebrew language courses, scholarly lectures, and symposia in order to encourage literacy, dialogue and understanding for and among people of all traditions. BHI also serves as a bridge between Towson University and the broader community interested in higher Jewish education.
