Towson University holds Commencement ceremonies in May and December to celebrate graduates and their accomplishments.

Congratulations!

The Office of the Provost hosts six ceremonies each spring and three ceremonies each winter to celebrate bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral candidates who have completed all of their degree requirements.

All ceremonies are held in TU Arena.

Spring ceremonies

Wednesday, May 22

The College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics (FCSM) ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. 

Thursday, May 23

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) ceremony will be held at 3 p.m.

Friday, May 24

The College of Education (COE) ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and the College of Health Professions (CHP) ceremony will be held at 3 p.m.

Inclement Weather Notice

Although ceremonies are held indoors, if severe weather is in the forecast, university administrators may postpone the ceremony. In the case of postponement, the university will make every effort to reschedule the ceremony in as close proximity to the original date as possible.

Weather-related announcements will appear on TU’s social media accounts and this website.
