Consequences for Unvaccinated Individuals

See requirements for individuals who are unvaccinated for COVID-19 and the consequences of noncompliance.

All members of our campus community are expected to comply with the USM vaccination mandate — unless they are approved for exemptions for medical or religious reasons. Therefore, TU is requiring students, faculty and staff who have not yet been vaccinated and who have not been granted an approved medical/religious exemption to the vaccination mandate to receive their first dose of the vaccine before noon on Friday, Sept. 10.

  • Students who have not been fully vaccinated, provided proof of a first dose or received an approved medical/religious exemption before noon on Sept. 10 will be disenrolled beginning Monday, Sept. 13.

  • Faculty and staff who have not been fully vaccinated, provided proof of a first dose or received an approved medical/religious exemption before noon on Sept. 10 will be placed on unpaid leave and expected not to report to campus beginning Monday, Sept. 13. Telework is not an option in place of compliance.
