OTS Student Computing Services (SCS) provides a service desk, a computer lab, multimedia support, equipment loans, studios and ResNet support during hours of operation.
If you are calling outside our hours of operation, you can leave a voicemail message or talk to our answering service. The answering service is the best option for reporting widespread outages when we are not available. SCS staff will answer after-hours email, voicemail, texts and TechHelp service requests on the next business day.
As communicated starting in January 2023, email, calendar and file storage/sharing
moved from Google to Microsoft 365 as of May 30.
Email: Your email address hasn't changed! Make sure you're logging into Outlook not Gmail. Files: Google Drive files have been moved to a folder in your OneDrive labeled ‘GDrive.’ Need help? Contact Student Computing Services. Learn more at towson.edu/M365forStudents.
This guide introduces the computing systems, services and resources that are important to TU students, especially those new to the campus.
Your NetID is the username and password combination you use to access your email, registration, Blackboard courses, and just about every other TU system and service on which you rely. If you need to activate your account or if you can't log in and need to reset your password, start with NetID Tools.
See or subscribe to OTS Alerts to stay informed of planned and unplanned system outages.
When it comes to choosing a place to store your important files, there are many options, each with its own benefits and drawbacks. OTS’ Storage and Sharing Options guide (PDF) will help you make the best choices for your data.
