Course-Specific Support

We offer a variety of opportunities for students to receive support for specific courses including tutoring, Peer Assisted Learning Sessions (PALS) and Supplemental Instruction (SI).

Tutoring Services 

Tutoring services are provided for many lower-level undergraduate courses in a variety of disciplines. All sessions are free of charge and students are assisted on a first-come, first served basis.

PALS

Peer Assisted Learning Sessions (PALS)

PALS are led by peer tutors and allow students to review and practice course material. A specific topic related to current course material is reviewed during each session.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) 

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic model that uses peer-facilitated study sessions for students taking historically difficult courses. The sessions are free and are scheduled weekly to help students understand course material and develop organizational skills.
