International students can apply for many scholarships that are reserved exclusively for international students and can also search for other scholarships that accept both national and international applicants.
Because eligibility criteria can vary widely between programs, carefully review the eligibility criteria for each scholarship to determine if international students can apply. Please review the listings below.
NOTE — Because most international students DO NOT meet the citizenship requirements for U.S. federal financial aid programs, they are not eligible to apply for any of the following aid programs:
Towson University offers a merit scholarship for new undergraduate students with a strong record of academic success and advanced English language skills. This $8,000 per year scholarship can significantly reduce your tuition expenses.

To apply for this scholarship, you must submit an international student admission application and all admission application documents to the Office of International Admissions. Apply early because these scholarships are competitive and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. You do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. If you receive one of these scholarships, you will be notified in your admission offer packet.
