International students can apply for many scholarships that are reserved exclusively
for international students and can also search for other scholarships that accept
both national and international applicants.
Because eligibility criteria can vary widely between programs, carefully review the
eligibility criteria for each scholarship or grant to determine if international students
can apply. Please review the listings below.
TU Scholarships
International Student Scholarship
The TU Admissions Office offers "International Student Scholarships" to new undergraduate
students. Award amounts range from $2,000 to $11,000. Recipients are selected based
on a competitive selection process that considers your academic record and your admission
application date.
To apply for this scholarship, you must submit a complete international student admission application and all admission application documents to TU. Apply early because these funds are
limited and are awarded based on a competitive and first-come, first-served process.
You do not need to submit a separate scholarship application. If you receive one of
these scholarships, we will notify you in your admission offer packet.
You Are Welcome Here Scholarship
TU is thrilled to participate in the #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign. This includes offering several #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarships to international
freshman undergraduate applicants. The scholarship amount is equal half of the cost of our
tuition, based on our 2021-2022 rates. (Students who receive this scholarship, can't
also receive the "International Student Scholarship" listed above.)
To apply, complete the YAWH Scholarship Application and email it to intladm AT_TOWSON by our March 15, 2021 YAWH application deadline.
Students who are awarded this highly competitive scholarship will be notified in spring
2021. Awardees will then need to pay the enrollment contract and accept the scholarship
by May 1, 2021.
Other TU Scholarships
The following additional TU scholarship listings include some scholarships that allow International Student applicants. Carefully review the eligibility
criteria for each scholarship. International students are not eligible for any MHEC aid programs or TU Admission scholarships with SAT/ACT criteria.

Federal & State Aid

the following aid programs:
