Fitness
In addition to a facility full of state-of-the-art exercise equipment, including tech enabled, strength-training equipment from EGYM, the Campus Recreation Fitness program offers many services that guide participants into a healthy lifestyle by providing group fitness classes, equipment orientations, fitness assessments, and personal training.

Fitness Floor 1
The fitness floor is found on the first level of the Burdick Hall Campus Recreation facility. It includes a wide array of weightlifting equipment from that includes dedicated weightlifting platforms, plate-loaded machines, accessible strength training machines, and selectorized equipment. In addition, there are plenty of dumbbells, plates and benches to train the entire body. EGYM's tech enabled, strength-training equipment is a highlight of this floor and takes the guesswork out of working out.
Fitness Floor 2
The cardio floor is located on the second level of the facility. It houses over fifty pieces of Matrix cardio equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and climb mills, plus some more unique pieces to add variety to any cardiovascular training routine. There is also a small area with mats and medicine balls for core work and stretching near the Sprint Hill. This floor also features a second selectorized strength training circuit for the major muscle groups. Three of the five group fitness studios are on this floor as well as the Recovery Zone. The large group fitness studio is available for use when not reserved for programming, and the small, instructional studio is available for our quiet space reservations.
Functional Floor
The functional area is located on the second level of the facility. This unique area encourages training the body for the way it lives and moves, using independent fitness tools such as kettlebells, suspension ropes, body weight, and gravity. The functional floor features four individualized workout bays that provide space for full-body workouts using multiple pieces of equipment. These bays feature state-of-the-art functional training tools such as the revvls, recoils, kettlebells, dumbbells and multi-use step decks. A Queenax structure equipped with Tbar setup, battle ropes, slams balls, and other unique training tools facilitate this functional fitness concept as well as several functional cardio equipment.
Mezzanine
The Mezzanine is a combined space for free weight strength training and functional training. It features three individualized workout bays that provide space for full-body workouts using multiple pieces of equipment. These bays feature state-of-the-art functional training tools such as the revvls, recoils, sandbags and bells, kettlebells, and multi-use step decks. Guests can also find a playground style bridge with monkey bars, climbing holds and ninja warrior grips for a challenging and fun workout experience. The Mezzanine is located above Gym One and can be accessed through the first floor of the Campus Recreation Center or on the second floor near the Sprint Hill. Please keep our track and stairway clear and head to the Mezzanine for dumbbell training, ab work, stretching, and jumping rope.
Sprint Hill
The Sprint hill is located on the second level of the facility starting near the Mezzanine entrance. This unique figure of the facility provides the ability to walk/run/jog at a max of 20% grade. Please review the guidelines for this area for guidelines are specific to this unique area.
