Marketing Intelligence Accelerated B.S./M.S.

Earn both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees in less time and set yourself up for a great marketing career.

Students who have been admitted to the business administration major with the marketing concentration are eligible to apply for the accelerated B.S./M.S. in Marketing Intelligence. This program allows you to complete both your undergraduate and graduate degrees in a shorter time frame.

In the combined B.S./M.S. program, students take three 600- to 700-level courses (9 units) in place of certain undergraduate courses, which count toward both bachelor's and master's degrees:

  • MKTG 605 (Offered in the fall term) in place of MKTG 485
  • MKTG 710 (Offered in the fall term) in place of MKTG 411
  • MKTG 720 (Offered in the spring term) in place of MKTG 412

A bachelor’s degree is awarded in business administration after all bachelor’s degree requirements are met, normally in the fourth year. The master's degree in Marketing Intelligence is awarded at the completion of the remaining seven graduate courses. The grades earned in the courses that are part of the accelerated program count only toward the undergraduate GPA, but units count towards both undergraduate and graduate programs.
