Faculty & Staff Consultation

The Counseling Center offers consultation services to support and advise you when you are dealing with students in distress.

During work hours (Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with additional walk-in hours Tuesdays until 7:00 p.m. and Wednesdays until 8:00 p.m.), you can contact us at 410-704-2512. We can also consult with your more generally about mental health issues and collaborate with you in our mutual efforts to improve the campus community environment. 

Assisting Students in Distress

A faculty or staff member is often the first person to recognize when a student is in distress. Here are some gentle reminders when reaching out to the person:

INOVA EAP

Inova EAP offers psychotherapy services for a wide range of presenting problems for TU staff, faculty and their family members. Inova EAP also offers a variety of other services, including:

  • information about resources for child/elder care and adoption services
  • online savings center
  • legal consultation
  • identity theft assistance
